The few most important things to remember as a representative of a company or college is to maintain the rule of 12 x 12 x 12. Simply speaking: What you look like from a 12 feet distance. This includes your body language, the way you dress up and how relaxed your posture is from far. Whether the look is confident or like a crocodile lazing around the lake on a summer morning. Next what you sound like from a 12-inch distance. This includes your voice pitch, volume, facial expression and more than anything else your breath– pop a mint if need be. The final rule is what are the first 12 words you speak as part of your small talk or introduction. The first dozen words can make or break the impression. Whether one is a student, an aspiring marketing professional, a professor or even a socialite; this 12 x 12 x 12 rule can help everyone in all walks of life if practiced wisely.
