International peace and cooperation is necessary for the prosperous and healthy development of the people in the world but the increasing pace of pandemic corona virus disease (COVID-19-a public health crisis) have worried the states to save their people from it. However, states of the world are coming together to defeat this cross border pandemic and it also shows the seriousness of this diseases. It is the collective responsibility of the states to combat the COVID-19. Shri Naredra Modi, the Prime of India has also called on the SAARC Nations (India, Pakistan, Nepal, Sri Lanka, Bangladesh, Bhutan, Maldives and Afghanistan) to come together to fight against the pandemic of Corona Virus. As we know, SAARC nations are very populous and vulnerable to combat such disease individually. Therefore, the collective effort of the SAARC would be more effective to save the people from this disease. India, being the largest country in terms of geography, democracy and population, should take a lead to set up the mechanism with other members of the SAARC to control this pandemic of COVID-19.
