Research-O-Pedia 5.0 is the university event which has taken place at UWSB extended campus from 26th Oct to 28th Oct, 2023. During this event we had speakers from the reputed institute like IIM Ahmedabad and FLAME University, they shared their knowledge with the faculty members and research scholars, which would surely help the participants to write some good research papers as per the objective of this FDP.

On the Day 1 we had Dr. Gaurav Kumar who is pursuing his post doc as Research Associate from IIM Ahmedabad. He has discussed about Introduction to research and the process of how to write good research papers. He has also discussed about the importance of literature review and how to carry out the literature review in a systematic manner.

On day 2 & Day 3 we had Dr. Barun Kumar Thakur from FLAME University. He has in-depth discussed about various important aspects like how to get funded project, what are the various sources to get the data and how you can utilize that data for your research papers. He has discussed about the basic key factors important in carrying out any research. How to write a good research proposal and what are the important tools and techniques used for analysis has also been discussed with lot of live examples.

During this workshop the total no. of participants (both faculties and research scholars) for all there days were around 31.
