As per the report ofASSOCHAM, a major Industry Association, the ongoing farmer protest in Delhi against the three new Farmer Bills passed by Parliament is leading to a loss of Rs 3500 Crore per day. The Farmers from Punjab and other parts of the country are protesting for the last fifteen days against the recently enacted three farm laws. The apprehension of the farmers is that the new farm laws will push the farmers to poverty and rural indebtedness. As the farm protest is going for the last fifteen days, the ASSOCHAM estimation of loss of Rs 3500 Crore per day is very disturbing. The Government should make all the possible efforts to end the stalemate.
