Plastic should be banned or not is a burning question nowadays. Plastic is a known substance because every society uses it in some form. Plastic is dangerous to human life and the environment, is a known fact, but rarely anybody is concerned about it. Plastic is a byproduct of petrochemical products. Petrochemical acts as an essential component for manufacturing crucial commodities like paint, automobile, Formica, cables, to name a few. Plastics are an integral part of the organization’s operations.
Look around, and you will find the majority of the products made up of plastic. For instance, Formica, TV panels, the body of the computer, plates, pens, mobile cover, duster, wall paint, sofa covers, chairs all are made of petrochemical products, usually granules. We are consuming plastic every day with the help of plastic tea cups and dispensable bottles, and soon it might become a part of our genes. Plastic is a carcinogenic agent, and one should avoid using it.
