On the auspicious day of Guru Purnima, UWSB welcomed the incoming batch of BBA (Hons.) 2019-22.
The inaugural ceremony started with paying gratitude to the guests and dignitaries present followed by lighting of the lamp to invoke the blessing from Goddess Saraswati.

Some very inspiring thoughts and anecdotes were shared by Mr. Sanjeev Jain, Director-Academics, UWSB. He discussed how students should take responsibility for their future as a new chapter of their life is unfolding thorough this program.

This was followed by a dynamic address by Mr. Jaideep Banerjee, Director – Outreach Programs & Placement Cell, Karnavati University. He shared his life experiences and pearls of wisdom with the students fusing some ‘josh’ in the speech. He urged the students to be very clear about what they want in their lives in terms of career goals, personal growth, and what kind of excellence they are capable of delivering.

It was a moment of pride for UWSB to have Sr. Fellow Dr. Dinesh Vaswani (Veteran Wing Commander for Air force India) as the Chief Guest for the inaugural day. His speech was filled with his experiences in air force and words of wisdom about life and having a balance between passion, teaching and self-study.

This was followed with an address by Karnavati University’s Registrar- Mr. Tariq Ali. He made the students aware of various norms and facts about the university. A small video as a dedication to all teachers and mentors was shared by Dr. Soumendu Bhattacharya (Associate Director – BBA) along with the vote of thanks. The inaugural ceremony culminated with the national anthem and a group pic with dignitaries and faculties.
