Education aims at improving the all-round personality of the student. School education is the acquisition of knowledge, skills and attitudes of students in a particular direction to bring about desired changes. Keeping this goal in view, various multi-dimensional learning experiences are provided in the school. Other domains like affective and the psycho-motor are equally important.

Comprehensive evaluation in school education seeks to include all those aspects and areas of personality which are amenable to evaluation such as Personal and social qualities like punctuality, regularity, habits of cleanliness, sense of responsibility, co-operation, initiative etc.; hobbies and Interests such as music, artistic, literary, etc.; desirable attitudes like democracy, socialism, secularism and national integration, attitude towards school programs, school property etc.);health status (weight, height, chest expansion, freedom from disease, cleanliness, etc.); proficiency in co-curricular activities (both indoor and outdoor like debating, dramatics, speech, club activities, games and sports, swimming etc.).
