Many many cave ages ago, cave-dwelling humans used to sharpen sticks and go hunting everyday to survive. They knew where their prey or lets say food is and were trained to hunt it at the right time. These days we can apply the same concept with Business Marketing Gimmicks. People in the field of marketing study their market trends, their audience and potential buyers and learn how to pull them in their circle of influence for making profitable business. This is true for all aspects of marketing. While some people believe in aggressively marketing the researched and/or trusted buyers there is also another section of people who like to harvest their buyers through the farming approach. Like the farmers do, they sow the seeds, nurture the soil and roots and let the season pass by so they can gain rich harvests at the end of the few months. The hard work is never dedicated to only the crops but also the soil, the roots and many a times making water outlets around the patch of farm or standing like a scarecrow only aiming at the birds… This often results in exemplary returns in the form of rich harvests for the farmer. If the current age marketing professionals would think of their professional endeavors from the farmers point of view, the harvest that is the business they will receive shall also be not just in abundance but also richer in quality as compared to how they began earlier.

But again, depending on the classic market situation it will be left upon the new age professionals on what they think would be helpful to them, taking the farmers approach or the caveman approach.
