The term deconstruction has entered the vocabulary of international fashion magazines, a label associated specifically with the work of Rei Kawakubo, Karl Lagerfeld, Martin Margiela, Ann Demeulemeester and Dries Van Noten amongst others, and more loosely used to describe garment on a runway that are ‘unfinished,’ ‘coming part,’ ‘recycled,’ ‘transparent,’ or ‘grunge.’
Students applied principles of Deconstruction in fashion in practice. They created the installation based on various aspects of Deconstruction in fashion.
