I.P.R. Conclave (Under the Theme IP YATRA) organized by MSME DFO, Ahmedabad

The event started with a welcome speech by ANIL PANDEY, Director and Sr. Counsellor and Head Intellectual Property Facilitation Centre Ahmedabad, Confederation Indian Industry, Government of India. This was followed by a session by Dr. Manish Rachchh (Director and C.E.O. of Accuprec research labs Pvt. Ltd) on “demystifying I.P.R.” He interacted with the participants regarding what I.P.R. is and the procedure for filing I.P.R. He discussed in detail about the types of I.P.R.
Shri Darshit Ahya, an I.P. attorney, took the second session. He discussed the interplay between I.P.R. and start-ups. He discussed the different issues and problems faced by the people trying to establish start-ups. A video conference with Ms. Catherine Mateu, Armengaud Guerlain, Advocate, Paris followed this. She is an I.P. attorney in Denmark. She took a session through video conferencing on the topic ‘local and international, I.P. & Trademark work for all.’ The event was concluded with a thank-you note by the organizers.
