An online live session was organized by the UWSL’s Centre for Advanced Research in Constitutional Law (CARCL)

The session was on the topic of “Independence of Judiciary”. The session was attended by:

1. Hon’ble Mr. Justice Kurian Joseph, Former Judge Supreme Court of India

2. The Session will also be attended by Prof. (Dr.) Faizan Mustafa, Vice-Chancellor, NALSAR University of Law, Hyderabad.

3. The dean of United world School of law will Moderate the Session along with Prof. (Dr. ) Yogesh Pratap Singh, Registrar, National Law University Odisha.

The session gave light to many problems and their probable solution in the near future. The session gave very important aspects and reasons for the independence or non-independence of the judiciary.

In these days of lockdown Dean- in charge of UWSL Dr. Nachiketa Mittal has taken a great initiative by arranging such lectures and as a result, the students of UWSL got an opportunity to question live the Hon’ble Justice Kurian Joseph.
