It was a memorable experience for the students of UID as the creators of the famous comic series “One of Those Days”, Yehuda Devir and Maya Devir visited the campus to interact with them and share their experiences.

The designer duo shared their insights on how to communicate the right message through visuals with a hint to the ‘big story’ happening behind the scenes. Visual Communication is all about storytelling and to do that effectively one needs to add small details to one frame in the right way.

They discussed the avenues of growing a considerable amount of audience on social media and shared tips on how to communicate a bigger story through one single frame.

“Live your dream, don’t waste your chances…and learn as much as possible in the process” – This was one of the many valuable advice from the designer duo Yehuda Devir and Maya Devir to our budding students.

From explaining how an artists brain works to motivating the students to pursue their passion no matter what, their insightful talk gave the students a new perspective of everything.

The students also got the opportunity to experience a live demo from Yehuda on how to illustrate dynamic human figures.
The students were ecstatic to meet their idols and engaged in meaningful discussions to gain as much knowledge as possible.
