The event Invigoration 2019 was held by Karnavati Incubation and Innovation Foundation on 30th Sept. 2019 for the selection of ideas presented by students for incubation. The event was attended by a large crowd of students, faculties, HoDs and Directors of all constituent institutes of Karnavati University. Three esteemed guests -Prof. Manish Jain, Associate Professor, IIT Gandhinagar, Prof. Jay Thakkar, Associate Professor, CEPT, Ahmedabad and Mr. Amit Singh Gohel, Director, NRI Startup India were invited from the start-up ecosystem to form a panel for judging the presentations of students.
A total of 22 teams from various departments of constituent colleges of Karnavati University presented their ideas to the jury.
The ideas so presented were from different domain namely – e-commerce, fashion retail, smart wearables, typefaces, electric mobility, smart automobile accessories, involved gardening, visible kitchen, etc. Although most of the ideas were rudimentary, some of them had good potential as a start-up. For most of the ideas, we could see a strong primary and secondary research.
The panel of judges which comprised of our three invited external guests were fully involved in the presentation and were clearly giving them suggestions for taking their ideas forward.
