The faculties, Sudeep Rawat and Sarban Chowdhury, Professors at the Department of Lifestyle Accessory Design, School of Fashion Design, UID conducted a hands-on material workshop with the Undergraduate and Post- Graduate students of the new batches of UID as a part of their Induction Program- UrIDentity.
The workshop engaged the students through the process of Small Leather Goods. The students got practical exposure to how leather goods are fashioned out of patterns and stitched into final products. The students had an enriching experience as they walked out of the workshops with personal lifestyle accessories like Passport covers, Coin purses, Spectacle holders and Credit card holders designed and crafted all by them under the guidance of the faculty and leather artisans!
