An immersive learning experience for the students of UG semester 2 of the Interior Department on a trip to Jodhpur. The trip is part of the Module Discover Design in India – a 5-day module where students engaged with craftsmen and artisans such as Dabu printing, Vishnoi community- working with materials such as leather, bone, and metal.
79 students along with Associate Professor Saumya Bandyopadhyay, Assistant Professor Viraj Wadia, and Assistant Professor Mira Patel interacted with craftspeople in their own context, engaging with their tools and techniques to uncover a lost bank of knowledge wherein contributing to the craft compendium
