A seminar lecture on “Planning Law School Life” was delivered by Ms. Avani Bansal, Advocate, Supreme Court of India today at Unitedworld School of Law.
It was an interactive session wherein Ms. Bansal explained how law students should spend their five years based on her own experience at HNLU, Oxford, and Harvard. She stressed on the skills important for a lawyer, especially the skills of communication.
The seminar was followed by the commencement of the two-day workshop on Negotiation and Mediation.
The students were introduced to the nuances of different Alternative Dispute Resolution methods and the role of lawyers in these methods. The students also had exercises in Negotiation to work on the skills required for negotiation.
