Karnavati University was pleased to host photojournalist and social documentarian Shuchi Kapoor as part of Conversations@KU.
Also fondly known as Girl in the Galli, Shuchi shared her photojournalistic forays. She talked about her work through which she has mainly focused on the human condition and psyche, ranging from a deep involvement with the issue of prostitution in the dingy brothels of Mumbai, Kolkata and Pune to the unfathomable lives of the salt workers in the harsh and barren conditions of Rann of Kutch.
She also shared useful tips for students to enhance their visual acumen for a career in photojournalism.
