“Head Heart and Hands – working in Harmony to create Magic and Design”
For their ongoing Elective module “Sustainable Environments”, the students of semester 4, Interior Design Department visited the Environmental Sanitation Institute.
Devendra Parekh, head of the institute gave the students a heartwarming welcome at the institute where students learned about a Sustainable Symbiosis of Man, Nature, and Architecture. The design, conceptualized by Ar. Yatin Pandya results from addressing four primary considerations – the program, the physical context of the site, the ideology of design, and the demonstration of environmental sustainability and ecological balance. 10 students with Assistant Professor Deeksha Somaiya were part of this on-site learning experience.
