Unitedworld Institute of Design, Karnavati University, joins the top league of world-class Design Institutes to be granted Full membership of Cumulus – The International Association of Universities and Colleges of Art, Design and Media.
Cumulus is the only global association to serve art and design education and research. It is a forum for partnership and transfer of knowledge and best practices. Cumulus consists currently of 257 members from 54 countries.
Col. Surojit Bose ( Director – Academics & International Collaboration ), UID received the Cumulus Membership at the General Assembly held on 13th April at ENSAAMA [École Nationale supérieure des arts appliqués et des métiers d’art], Paris from Lorenzo Imbesi – Professor, La Sapienza University, Rome, Italy & members of the Cumulus Executive Board .
The General Assembly was presided by Cumulus President Luisa Collina- Professor, School of Design, Politecnico di Milano, Italy & in the august presence of Secretary General Ms Eija Salmi – The Aalto University School of Art and Design, Finland.
