B.B.A. (Hons.) Hospitality and Tourism Management

Introduction to Program

Are you interested in a career in hospitality and tourism management? Our degree program will give you the skills and knowledge you need to enter this exciting and fast-paced industry. You’ll learn how to manage tourist attractions, work in hotels and resorts, and provide services for global visitors. With a foundation in hospitality, tourism, and event management, you’ll be ready for a variety of challenges in this rapidly changing field.

Note :-

  1. Students can pursue a dissertation of 12 credits in semester VIII or pursue core courses of corporate restructuring, Project Management and Auditing of 3 credits each in lieu of the dissertation. The outcome of the dissertation has to be published in a peer – reviewed journal, presented in a conference or patented.
  2. On a daily basis, there shall be sports sessions scheduled which shall not be a part of the credit framework
  3. The degree offered as per UGC Nomenclature (National Education Policy, 2020) shall be a BBA after 3 years, a BBA (Honours) after 4 years if dissertation is not opted for and a BBA (Honours with research) if dissertation is opted for
  4. All courses are divided into three categories, Core/ Major courses which carry a 4 credit each, Multi-Disciplinary/ Ability enhancement / Skill enhancement which carry a 3 credit each and Value added which carry a 2 credit each.

If course is not offered due to lack of adequate number of students, students of the same course will be transferred to other course on the basis of available seats as per the guidelines of the Academic Council.
