On April 12th, the Centre of Research in Criminal Law organized a field visit to Adalaj Police Station for our BA LLB students. The primary objective of this visit was to provide our students with hands-on experience in the Criminal Justice System. Despite their busy schedules, the police officers at Adalaj Police Station took time to educate our students on the workings of the Criminal Justice System. Our students were eager to learn and engaged in interactive sessions with the officers. During the visit, our students were able to observe the organizational structure of the police station and gain insight into the way it functions and manages its affairs. This practical experience enabled them to relate the legal provisions of various statutes to their practical applications. The visit also gave our students a clear understanding of various formats of applications, record maintenance procedures, and the overall functioning of the police station. The field visit provided our students with an invaluable learning experience that complemented their theoretical knowledge of criminal law. Overall, it was a successful trip that enabled our students to gain a deeper understanding of the Criminal Justice System.
