Often described as ‘the greatest show on earth’, the Jaipur Literature Festival is an annual gathering of the foremost writers, commentators, poets, thinkers and intellectuals, where myriad issues of social, cultural, political and economic importance are discussed. This annual festival provides exposure to students of liberal arts and mass communication, who are expected to deeply engage with issues of significance. Thus, in January 2020, the students of the first year of USLM traveled to Jaipur for the festival. The 13th edition of this five-day extraordinary event was inaugurated by the Chief Minister Shri. Ashok Gehlot and accompanied by the keynote address by Marcus du Sautoy and Shubha Mudgal. The event was an inimitable fusion of literature, politics, social events, economics and culture.
