This royal City- Jaipur was our destination for the trip of Fashion department and Lifestyle Accessory department’s Sem 2 students. It was a five-day educational tour that covered various crafts and lots of fun during our Discover Design India module.

Students were taken to the artisans of blue pottery, meenakari, lac-bangles, and bagru block printing to learn the crafts and observe various other detailed aspects of the crafts. They were divided into smaller groups to learn the craft with intricacy. They also made products related to each craft by themselves.

These crafts were taught to the students during the day and had the evening were there to explore the city. They were taken to all the well-known architectural places including the Hawa Mahal, Jal Mahal, Nahargard fort, Amer fort, City Place, and a few others as well. They learned a lot about the historical significance of these beautiful structures. The experiences in each of these places were different yet memorable. Overall it was an extremely fun and beneficial trip for the students.
