We all know that Corona pandemic creates very critical condition through lockdown the system and social distancing. All employees have got the work from home. Here I am talking about the situation of work from home is an opportunities or challenges for the workers.
Off course, we can say that this situation is creating an opportunity for the employees to learn something new, but if it is not over-burden working environment for the employees then. In Indian work culture, work from home is like trial and error because Indian employees have not been faced such situation earlier. It means another side it is the challenging task for the employees to handle multiple operations at a time. There are several motivating factors working behind to create smooth work culture from home such as avoid multiple tasks at a time, assigned proper responsibility, avoid irrelevant things, trust on your employees etc.
In India, work from home is the new experience for the employees and employers both. It is the time of mutual understanding and trust through which both can set the example of win-win situation. Employees should not break the trust of the employers and misuse of the given working environment and other side employers also put the trust on their employees that they are not being idle and misusing the provided working culture.
This is the best learning space where employees are learning new things especially in technology usage because everyone is working through various online platforms zoom, coursesites and many more, so they also become familiar with proper use of online platforms. Employees can use this best time and do the new research in their relevant area which help them out for their career advancement. Here we can understand the importance of technology if it is properly use and in right direction.
As we say, in this challenging situation, employee can create something new in which is beneficial for the organisation or enhancing the skills and productivity. Work from home it is the work culture where employee is relaxing and spare the time with his or her family which enhance the productivity and efficiency. I really appreciate to such organisations which are providing an opportunity to employees to utilise and enhance the skills in their relevant and interested areas rather than creating unfavourable working environment under work from home during this pandemic condition.
Last but not least, we can learn during this lockdown is that if any challenge is seen positively then it becomes an opportunity. So, it depends how people are looking this challenge it is up to them.
