Getting to know oneself takes one through certain stages
- Observing one’s behavior and the thoughts and feelings behind them
- Figuring out the deep seated source of our expressions and manifested selves within us
- Face off with one’s shadow self
- Taking the path of least resistance and minimum judgment towards shadow self
- Integrating the shadow self with the other acceptable self
